Szymon Szczęsny

Head of the Lab.

Received the M.S. degree in telecommunication and electronic engineering and Ph.D. degree in automatic control and robotics all form Poznan University of Technology. Current research interests cover digital systems design, neurocybernetics, hardware acceleration, edge and embedded systems based on FPGA.

Marek Kropidłowski

Eng. Ph.D.

Received Ph.D. degree in computer science at Poznan University of Technology. Current research interests cover digital systems design, spiking neural networks, hardware security, edge and embedded systems.

Mariusz Naumowicz

Member of the Lab.

Eng. Ph.D.

In 2017, at the Poznan University of Technology, he defended with distinction his PhD in the field of hardware-free in the context of chaotic generators used in the process of creating binary random sequences. The doctoral dissertation was awarded the Prime Minister’s Prize of the Republic of Poland. His Main research interests are in hardware Trojans, quantum random number generator design, and social engineering interaction.

Michał Melosik

In 2017, he graduated in Automatic Control and Robotics at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Poznań University of Technology, obtaining the title of Master of science. In 2017, he began doctoral studies in a field of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Poznań University of Technology.

Damian Huderek

Member of the Lab.

Eng. M.Sc.

In 2020 he received a master’s degree at the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications at Poznań University of Technology. In the same year he became a doctoral school student at the same university and started working full time as a machine learning engineer in the field of medical imaging software. His main interests include artificial intelligence, computer vision and embedded systems.

Paweł Pietrzak

In 2024, he received a master’s degree from the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications at Poznań University of Technology. He is a full-time AI algorithm engineer at Intel and a research assistant at Poznań University of Technology. His main interests include edge AI, spiking neural networks, and neuromorphic computing.
