Today, by decision of the Disciplinary Council of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, our doctoral student, Hubert Świerczyński, was awarded a doctorate. The doctoral program was carried out as part of the PhD Implementation Program and in cooperation with the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center. The subject of the doctoral thesis concerned the application of machine learning methods in the detection and control of glaucoma. A measurable effect of the completed program is the implementation of a system for diagnosing glaucoma and supporting cooperation within the scientific community.
